Testimonials
Thank you for these wonderful educational articles. Please keep sending them. I Would like to inform you that since you treated the worst hamstring injury I ever sustained in my 28 years of long distance running, I have not had any problems with my hamstrings both during training and during the eight marathons I have run this year. Of all the physical therapists* I've had, you are the best!
Remain blessed, Emmanuel Enujiok
*Clyde is not a physical therapist, but rather, an orthopedic/sportss Massage Therapy
“As a massage therapist, I am quite particular about who I see. Clyde effected a permanent shift in my body in one session that in four years no one else could accomplish. I had low back pain that, through a series of gentle tests, he correctly identified as a chronic psoas spasm. He addressed the problem in an innovative way, and showed me a new kind of stretch to do. I haven't hurt since. I highly recommend Clyde for what is truly therapeutic massage.”

“Clyde is strong enough for deep tissue work and sensitive enough for the subtle energy work. His versatility keeps each massage interesting. He can give a relaxing full body Swedish massage or spend an hour focusing on a specific problem area. He has a warm, caring personality that shows in his work. His positive attitude creates a safe, comfortable environment.”

“A week after my massage with Clyde I was cleaning the house, when I noticed how I could move my hips and legs with such marvelous ease and comfort. I really feel like a new woman.”
~Maria Hicks, Lawrenceville, GA
“Clyde has been working on me since I began the Ironman quest. Among other positive attributes, he is an attentive listener and meticulously incorporates feedback. I always am amazed at how well he is able to use information I provide before and during a session. He’s attuned to biomechanics and it shows in his work. I can’t recommend him enough.”

"I just want to tell anyone who's looking for an amazing massage about Clyde Ranney. He knows how the body works in such detail and he always gets to the ROOT CAUSE of a pain; he is never satisfied to just fix it temporarily. I've seen Clyde for a few months now and I'm always amazed at the results. He gets my knots out, has increased my flexibility, and even helps my feet! He works with athletes of all levels: Ironmen triathletes, bikers (he travelled with Bicylce Ride Across Georgia), swimmers (Emory's swim team), etc."
~Adrienne P. Atlanta tri-athlete
"Clyde Ranney has changed my life. When I initially came to Mr. Ranney, I had been going to a chiropractor every week for two years prior for comprehensive corrections of my pelvic bones, 3rd and 5th lumbar, neck and overall skeletal alignment. In addition, I was experiencing varying degrees of pain and imbalance with my muscular system, particularly in my lower back and my psoas muscle, as well as a variety of internal organ systems. These issues manifested themselves as far back as 4+ years ago.
I was told by a variety of traditional medical doctors including three Urologists, that I had prostatitis. Although, these medical doctors could not find any pathogens in my body, they continued to prescribe very dangerous antibiotics over the course of several months which made me sicker. When I initially saw the chiropractor, he determined that I was detrimentally forcing 60 pounds more weight on my left foot/side over my right. Adjustments with the chiropractor helped to permanently relieve my internal pain and significantly reduce this imbalance but I still had to continue to see him weekly for skeletal maintenance, re-balance and back pain relief. The chiropractic adjustments were only a temporary fix.
My situation was so bad that even rocking my hips side to side was painful.
Happenstance, led me to the idea that orthopedic massage therapy would help me complete the healing that the chiropractor had started. I never heard of orthopedic massage until this summer. Clyde Ranney’s skills as an orthopedic massage therapist were right on the mark as a permanent solution to my problem. Upon first meeting him, he told me that ten sessions would relieve my pain and significantly limit my dependence and need to go to a chiropractor.
In record time, eight weeks of body work, including a five day a week exercise routine recommended by Mr. Ranney, has permanently relaxed overstressed muscles directly and indirectly impacting the alignment of my skeletal system.
I am not only pain free but core muscles are stronger than I ever remember. On Mr. Ranney’s advice, I have taken up Pilates, which has accelerated the strength of my core muscles as well as my overall wellness. I am at a point where I am limiting my visits to the Chiropractor from once a week to once per month.
This experience has been a long journey for me and I am writing this testimonial, in hopes that people who are experiencing the problem that I had, can find the clarity and the freedom from pain that I now have. Thank You Clyde Ranney!
